Happy Travels from Inn at the Presidio!
Hello! We are your online guide to all things San Francisco, The Presidio, local parks & museums, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and more. Our inn is an adorable historic bachelor's quarters from 1904, restored into a contemporary but classic 22 room Inn. We open Spring of 2012, and hope to share with you some of the most exciting things from The NPS, the Presidio Trust, it's partners, and the San Francisco Bay at large. You don't have to stay at our inn to ask questions about the area, or enjoy our posts... just let us know if we can help!. The Walt Disney Family Museum decided to celebrate late March’s National Wildlife Week” with a few “blasts to the past” —->
For several years, Walt served as honorary chairman of National Wildlife Week, promoting and endorsing the event in the press and media. Walt happily contributed the assets and talents of his Studio to this worthwhile effort.
This Public Service Announcement from 1963 was filmed on the test stage of the Ford Magic Skyway, created for the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair. It was shot at the same time as the introduction for Wonderful World of Color TV episode, “Disneyland Goes to the World’s Fair.”
