Happy Travels from Inn at the Presidio!
Hello! We are your online guide to all things San Francisco, The Presidio, local parks & museums, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and more. Our inn is an adorable historic bachelor's quarters from 1904, restored into a contemporary but classic 22 room Inn. We open Spring of 2012, and hope to share with you some of the most exciting things from The NPS, the Presidio Trust, it's partners, and the San Francisco Bay at large. You don't have to stay at our inn to ask questions about the area, or enjoy our posts... just let us know if we can help!. The amazing, but temporary, art exhibits called “The Presidio Habitats”. It’s was an amazing number of installations that existed for a few years.

The exhibit was through October 15 of 2011. Let this serve as a reminder of the great art that existed in the Presidio, and the great art yet to come. You can still see Andy Goldsworthy’s Spire and Wood Line. What urban setting has a national park that embraces naturalist art? I will tell you - absolutely nowhere else in the world.
